Grid Topo

Grid Topo is a new paradigm of creating scalable green spaces.  It integrates the city grid with watershed ecological elements, scaled down to function in homes, offices, schools, and public spaces. The landscape is designed to choreograph the flow of water through a series of valleys.  It can serve as a learning tool and its purpose is multifunctional.  It can be used to cultivate indoor plant life, filter water, serve as a passive humidifier, and larger scale models can function as rooftop gardens that can mitigate excessive rainwater.  Smaller prototypes can also cultivate and propagate budding cacti and succulents. The current prototype is a 24”W x 48”L x 12”H terrarium/aquarium hybrid, designed to bring nature to interior spaces.  The units can function independently or interconnect to form larger systems that can be stacked and suspended in space.
